George grew up in a family where bartending and restaurant life were always part of daily life. As early as thirteen, he started creating his own drinks, inspired by his grandmother’s homemade liqueurs and her saying that “people eat with their eyes first.”
At sixteen, he began working as a bartender at his aunt’s restaurant and has since developed a deep passion for mixology. For George, bartending is about crafting unique and beautiful cocktails that not only taste amazing but also look like works of art.
“I never want to serve anything simple or boring — every drink should be an experience for all the senses.”
George Kahkejian is the bar manager at Clarion Hotel Amaranten, Tap Room bar, and a passionate mixologist. His signature cocktail, “Mr. Kakaji,” is a favorite among guests.
Through competitions, he challenges himself to continuously grow and refine his craft.
